Herrmann's Ground Maintenance

About Herrmann's Ground Maintenance

Troy Hill sits on a shelf above the Allegheny, reached by streets that rise faster than seems reasonable — Rialto climbs so hard the sidewalk gives up and becomes stairs. Herrmann's Ground Maintenance handles snow on ground like that: plowing driveways and lots, shoveling walks and landings, salting the pitched approaches where traction is the entire game. An inch on a hillside street is not the same inch it is downtown, and the routes are planned accordingly. When the night's work is done, people get out of their own neighborhood without giving it a thought. Up here, that's the measure of it.
