About Fred's Tree & Lawn Service

Cold settles into the Monongahela valley and stays there, so Hazelwood can hold ice long after the ridges above it have dried out. Fred's Tree & Lawn Service takes on winter along those flats and slopes: plowing drives and lots, shoveling walks and porch steps, spreading salt where the shade never lets go. River fog freezes onto pavement overnight, which is why the second pass matters as much as the first. There is genuine satisfaction in a set of front steps a neighbor can take without thinking about them. Storms move through this valley fast — the work is being out in them while they do.
