About Dependable Lawn Services inc.

North of Pittsburgh the ground never quite lies flat, and Ross Township is built across that grain — lawns terraced into hillsides, slopes falling away toward Girty's Run, retaining walls holding up somebody's front yard. Mowing that terrain is a matter of angles and footing, and Dependable Lawn Services inc. works the pitch so the cut stays even from the crown of the hill down to the ditch line. A July afternoon here smells of warm turf and cut clover, the mower following the contour while the shade slides across the street. Trimming and edging finish what a deck cannot reach: the wall lines, the mailbox posts, the seam where driveway meets grass. Come autumn the oaks give up their weight all at once and the cleanup runs hard until the ground goes quiet.
