About Buzzard's Lawn Care

Late August, and the thermals over the Saw Mill Run valley hold a few slow birds aloft without a single wingbeat. Down on the ground Buzzard's Lawn Care is doing the opposite kind of work: mowing, string-trimming the fence corners, edging the walks along Carrick and Overbrook's long straight streets. Grass stalls in the heat, then surges after a thunderstorm rolls through, and the route bends to match it. There is real pleasure in a yard that has been kept all season rather than rescued in September. The mower leaves its stripes behind and the day moves on.
