About Dan Black Excavating-Landscaping

At three in the morning the roads above Pine Township are empty and blue, and the only sound on a long drive is a plow blade finding pavement. Dan Black Excavating-Landscaping runs those storm hours — plowing driveways and lots, clearing walkways, and spreading salt where a slope wants to hold ice. Snow arrives on a west wind and drifts across the open ground between tree lines, so a drive opened at midnight often wants a second look before dawn. The reward is what greets a household at six: black asphalt, banks pushed well back, room enough to turn around and go. That is the whole of it, finished before anyone has to think about it.
