About Bates Landscaping

On an October morning the Schuylkill throws fog up over its banks, and the properties along the water hold onto it until the sun burns through around nine. Bates Landscaping works those hours and every other one the calendar hands out: mowing and trimming through the growing months, mulch and clean bed edges, the leaf cleanups that follow the fog season, then plow blades and salt once the year turns hard. Phoenixville's older streets climb away from the river at real angles, and a steep drive in January is a different problem than a flat one — it wants clearing early and treating right. The work is measured in small certainties: turf cut to an even height, a walk opened curb to door, a lot cleared before the first car arrives. A full turn of the year, taken one property at a time.
