A 1 Lawn Care

About A 1 Lawn Care

Bridge Street is empty at five in the morning, and in January it runs white from curb to curb — which is exactly when A 1 Lawn Care goes to work, plowing and salting so Phoenixville can open its doors on time. Come May the same routes turn green and the truck carries mowers where the blade used to ride. The warm half of the year is mowing, edging, trimming, mulch through the beds and long cleanups at either end; the cold half is drives, walks, lots and the de-icing that keeps a set of steps honest. Phoenixville sits where French Creek hands itself to the Schuylkill, and weather funnels down that valley in both seasons — rain that pushes grass up fast, squalls that arrive sideways. A year here is really two trades, and this is a business built to run both.
