JK Mowing

About JK Mowing

Philipsburg wakes with the Moshannon still cool in its bed, and by seven the first lines are already going down across a yard up on the hill. JK Mowing works this plateau town where the ground rolls off toward the ridge and nearly every lawn leans a little toward the creek. Mowing, trimming, edging and the sweep-up afterward — the work is simple to name and deeply satisfying to finish. There is a particular pleasure in the last pass, when the stripes line up and the border along the front walk comes out clean enough to draw a pencil down. Spring and fall cleanups make room for all of it: the greening, and then the letting go. Philipsburg and the small towns around it get the same attention, week after week.
