About Snow Solutions

The first flakes drifting over Burholme Park always look harmless, and then the wind picks up and the streets of Fox Chase and Rhawnhurst go under. We answer that with plows on the driveways and lots, shovels on the walks and front steps, and salt down early enough that ice never takes hold. Clearing it right means going all the way to the pavement — half-scraped snow just turns to a sheet by morning. We watch a storm and come back once it has finished piling. The result is undramatic and exactly the point: a path out, a drive open, footing nobody has to think about.
