Reading Snow Removal

About Reading Snow Removal

Snow falls differently on a city of row houses: it lands on marble stoops and narrow sidewalks and the tight strip between a parked car and a curb, and every foot of it belongs to somebody. Reading Snow Removal clears that Philadelphia geometry — plowing lots and driveways, shoveling and blowing walks and steps, salting the shaded stretches along the north side of a street where ice sets in and stays. Work starts in the dark, when the neighborhood is only a row of blue-lit windows. By breakfast the sidewalk runs clean from corner to corner, dry enough for a dog, wide enough for a stroller. In a walking city, that's the whole service: the ground given back.
