About McFarland Landscape Services Inc

October in Chestnut Hill, and the Belgian block on Germantown Avenue shines after rain while the big maples let go one leaf at a time. Lawns up here run wide and old, ringed by hedge and stone, and they hold a mowing pattern beautifully when the height is right and the turns go the same way each week. We mow, we edge the beds and the walks, we trim what the deck cannot reach, and we lift the leaves before they mat down and smother the turf. By spring the cleanup begins again on the Wissahickon side, where the shade is deep and the grass wants patience. The reward is simple enough: a lawn that looks composed from the street.
