About Barini Services

Camden wakes early, and Barini Services wakes earlier. When a storm crosses the river overnight — the wet, heavy kind that clings to brick and iron — the work starts under the lit cables of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge with the plow down and the salt ready. Driveways get opened all the way to the pavement, walks get cut clean to their edges, and the ice that sets in the shade of Cooper Street's rowhouses gets treated before anyone steps out for a first shift. There is a real satisfaction in a driveway squared off at both corners while the sky is still going from black to gray. By the time the block is moving, the way out is already there.
