Dillon's Tree Service

About Dillon's Tree Service

Perryopolis still shows the wheel-and-square plan it was laid out with, and the ridge farms around it run down toward the Youghiogheny. Dillon's Tree Service works that ground through the harvest weeks and all the rest — removing the dead ones standing in a pasture corner, trimming limbs off a barn and a lane, pruning the shade trees around a farmhouse so they hold together through more winters. Storms come over the ridge with real force and leave tops across fences and drives; the answer is heavy cutting and steady hauling, ending with the barnyard clear. Nothing looks better at dusk than a lane you can drive down again. Service reaches Layton, Star Junction, Dawson, Vanderbilt, Fayette City, Smithton and Belle Vernon.
