Bill's Kid Lawn Service

About Bill's Kid Lawn Service

June evenings come slow to Penn Hills, the light sliding long down the streets off Lincoln Park while sprinklers tick and somebody's radio carries two houses over. That is the hour Bill's Kid Lawn Service likes best — the mower quieted, the walks blown off, a lawn holding its stripes into dusk. The work is mowing, edging and string trimming, done house by house across the township's brick-porch blocks. A tidy front yard is a small kindness a street pays itself, and this is a business that takes that seriously. Come Saturday morning, the smell of cut grass is half the neighborhood's summer.
