About A&J Lawn Pros LLC

Penn Hills is a township built on a rumple of ridges above the Allegheny, where hardly a yard lies flat and every driveway has an opinion about gravity. A&J Lawn Pros LLC works both halves of that year: mowing, trimming and edging the sloped lawns from April on, then plowing and salting the same addresses once the hills go white. There is a particular satisfaction in a hillside lawn cut in even lines, and another in a steep drive scraped down to bare pavement while the porch light is still the brightest thing on the street. The grade of a property gets read the way river folks read current — where water goes, where snow slides, where the mower has to turn. Penn Hills asks for both kinds of attention, and this is a business that shows up for both.
