About LAARK Property Maintenance & Landscaping LLC

The reservoirs up on Wild Creek and Bear Creek sit still and dark under the hemlocks, and the whole township seems to take its temperature from them — cool in July, iron-cold in January. LAARK Property Maintenance & Landscaping LLC works both ends of that range in Penn Forest Township: mowing, trimming, mulch and seasonal cleanups while the woods are green, plowing, shoveling and salting once the drives disappear. Property maintenance up here is a relationship with a place that keeps testing it — roots, rock, wind, and snow that arrives sideways. Doing it steadily is what keeps a house looking lived in rather than left. A mowed lawn against a wall of pine looks like an act of care, because it is. In February, so does a bare driveway.
