About Pete's Precision Lawn Care, Llc

Pen Argyl grew up out of slate — gray spoil ridges, slate curbstones, roofs that have shed a hundred years of rain. Against all that gray, a mowed lawn reads like a green declaration, and Pete's Precision Lawn Care is in the business of making it read clearly: the standing weekly pass, the trim around posts and stone, the crisp edge where turf meets walk, the clippings cleared off before the truck leaves. Summer mornings up here start cool with the mountain shading the north side of town, and grass cuts best right then. By late afternoon the slate is warm and the lawns are striped and quiet. That contrast — old stone, new green — is most of what makes the work worth doing.
