About Joe Berger Excavating LLC

Wind pours through Lehigh Gap all winter and drops whatever it is carrying on the streets that climb up out of the river valley. Joe Berger Excavating LLC clears snow in and around Palmerton, plowing driveways and lanes, opening lots, and pushing back the banks that grow along a hillside approach. On a grade, snow is a different problem: it has to come off down to the surface, and the ice beneath has to be treated, or nobody is getting up the hill at seven. Most of it happens at hours when the rest of the borough is asleep, under headlights and blowing white. Then the truck rolls out toward Bowmanstown and does it all again.
