Shine On Wheels

About Shine On Wheels

Between midnight and five the township belongs to headlights and falling snow, and to whoever is willing to be out in it. Shine On Wheels handles snow removal around Oxford Township, plowing driveways, clearing walks and steps, and salting where ice keeps returning. A drive finished right has a look all its own: wet black pavement under the porch light, banks squared off, nothing left to catch a tire. Storms roll in off the western ridges and often stay longer than forecast, which makes the second and third pass part of the arrangement. Morning shows the work better than any description of it.
