About Carter & Son Lawn Care Inc

The Octoraro runs west of Oxford through banks that stay wooded and cool, and by late November the whole creek valley goes the color of old copper. Carter & Son Lawn Care Inc is finishing the year's mowing about then — last cuts, edges tightened, leaves cleared off before the ground locks up. Not long after, the plow goes on, and the winter work becomes opening drives and clearing walks at houses set back off the township roads. This part of Chester County rolls enough that snow lingers in the north-facing hollows days after the rest has gone. A property that stays presentable in both seasons is the thing worth taking pride in.
