About Scenic Valley Enterprises LLC

Orrtanna sits among the apple rows west of Gettysburg, where South Mountain rises behind the orchards and holds its snow a little longer than the valley does. Scenic Valley Enterprises LLC plows the lanes and drives out here when a storm comes over that mountain, clearing walkways down to the pavement. In the growing months the work is mowing, trimming, edging and seasonal cleanups, keeping lawns neat against all that orchard green. Adams County springs bring blossom and mud in the same week, and the summers run hot along the ridge road. The reward is simple — a drive open before breakfast, a lawn cut to an even line against the orchard rows.
