SHANKS LAWN CARE

About SHANKS LAWN CARE

Orrstown is small enough to walk end to end, and on a June morning the dew hangs on every lawn until the sun clears the treetops. SHANKS LAWN CARE starts once it burns off — mowing, trimming, edging, keeping the grass even along the village's few straight streets and out across the properties spread beyond them. This limestone country grows a deep lawn when the rain cooperates and can go tawny fast when it doesn't. The craft is in reading that and cutting to it, so a yard looks steady all summer instead of shaggy one week and scalped the next. A tidy border along a walk is a small thing that changes how a whole property reads.
