About Hay's Landscaping

Oreland lies in the green folds above Sandy Run, where stone houses hold the afternoon warmth and the trains go by on the hour toward Philadelphia. Hay's Landscaping keeps lawns here — mowing, trimming, edging, and clearing the leaf drift that the Fort Washington woods send down every autumn. Spring is the loud season: the Wissahickon side of the township greens up almost overnight and every yard wants attention at once. There is real pleasure in a crisp edge along an old flagstone walk, the line sharp enough to notice from the sidewalk. Come November the work turns to cleanup, and the yards go into winter tidy and settled.
