About Fishing Creek Yard Works LLC

Fishing Creek comes down cold and unhurried past Orangeville, sliding under the covered bridges Columbia County still keeps in service. Fishing Creek Yard Works LLC takes its name from that water and tends the lawns along it, from the flats by the bank up to the yards that lean into the ridge. Mowing, trimming, edging, hauling off what the season leaves behind — the work is plain, and the reward is the last pass, when the stripes run true to the road. Summer arrives green and heavy in this valley, and the color turns fast once the wind comes over the hills above town. A yard that reads as cared for from the mailbox to the back fence is the whole point.
