About American Groundskeeping

Cold settles into the Robinson Run valley and stays put, so Oakdale can run several degrees meaner than the hilltops above it. American Groundskeeping plows and salts through that cold — commercial lots, shared drives, and the steep residential aprons that ice over first and thaw last. Walks and entryways are shoveled and treated, and snow gets stacked where the daytime melt has somewhere to go. Storms here often ride in on a west wind ahead of the forecast, so the trucks roll early rather than late. A lot cleared to bare pavement before the first shift arrives is the whole measure of a night's work.
