About McCollum Enterprises, LLc

On a storm Sunday the borough goes quiet — King Street empty, the trees in Pineknotter Park loaded and bending — and that hush is when McCollum Enterprises, LLc gets its best work done. Plow routes run through sleeping streets, driveways opened one after another, walkways shoveled down to the concrete and treated against ice. Snow is pushed to the ends of lots where meltwater can run off instead of refreezing across the tire tracks. It is unglamorous, cold, early work, and there is pride in it: the neighbor who steps outside expecting a shovel and finds the job already finished. Northumberland winters ask for that kind of steadiness, and they answer it.
