Crosscut Lawn Service

About Crosscut Lawn Service

Northampton's blocks step down toward the Lehigh in tidy rows, and the front lawns along them are small, square and completely unforgiving — one ragged edge and the whole street notices. Crosscut Lawn Service takes them on summer evenings when the heat lets go, mowing, trimming the strip between sidewalk and curb, cutting the border along the walk until it reads like a drawn line. Cleanups bracket the year, spring for what winter left behind and fall for the leaves that come down over the borough all at once. Come January the same trucks carry blades, opening drives and clearing walks so nobody navigates a storm on their own steps. Two seasons of work on the same familiar streets, and the town looks tended in both.
