The FAAR Group

About The FAAR Group

There is an hour in a Warminster snowstorm when the township goes entirely quiet — traffic lights blinking over an empty York Road, every porch lamp wearing a halo. The FAAR Group works that hour, plowing driveways and lots, clearing the walkways and door landings by shovel, salting ahead of the freeze that trails a Delaware Valley storm. Snow falling wet at thirty degrees is a different animal from the dry stuff at twenty, and the route order shifts with it. Nobody sees the night; everybody sees the morning. A bare apron and a walk you can cross without thinking — that is the entire message.
