About Galati Landscaping

The first hard freeze in North Strabane township announces itself along the ridges — a wind that wasn't there in October, frost holding all morning in the north-facing yards. Galati Landscaping is ready by then, with plows for driveways and lots, shovels for walks and steps, and salt for the shaded corners where an afternoon thaw refreezes by dark. Seasonal arrangements mean nobody has to place a call at two in the morning; the truck comes because it snowed. Washington County storms may cross in off the Ohio Valley one squall at a time or come down steadily until daylight, and either way the work is the same — clear it, treat it, return if it keeps falling. A driveway open at daybreak is a small thing that changes the whole shape of somebody's morning.
