About Colosimo Outdoor Services LLC

There is an hour in January, long before the lights out toward the Meadowlands go pale, when North Strabane township belongs entirely to the plow trucks. Colosimo Outdoor Services LLC keeps that hour — plowing driveways and lots, shoveling walks right up to the door, spreading salt on the shaded turns where ice hangs on longest. By the time the township wakes and the ramps to Interstate 79 fill up, the work looks like nothing ever happened, which is the whole point of it. Come May the same trucks trade blades for mowers, and it becomes cutting, trimming, edging and hauling the cleanup away. Snow opened before daybreak, grass cut sharp by supper: two halves of one job in one township.
