About Yackenchick Lawn Care

North Manheim Township wraps around Schuylkill Haven where the river bends, anthracite hills climbing away on every side and Blue Mountain closing off the southern sky. Yackenchick Lawn Care mows the steep, short-run yards of that country — trimming along retaining walls and stone steps, edging narrow walks, and getting the clippings off the pavement before they wash down toward the gutter. Spring cleanups pull the winter's grit out of the beds and mulch goes back in dark and even. The leaf work runs late here, because the hardwoods on those slopes hold on well past the first cold snap. Cutting a hillside lawn level takes a certain stubbornness, and getting it right is the whole point of the trip.
