About Robert Heaps Lawn Service

Sharp Mountain stands over North Manheim like a long dark wall, and in September the yards on the slope below it cool early and hold their color late. Robert Heaps Lawn Service mows those hillside properties, where a level cut takes more steering than flat ground ever asks for. The trimmer runs the retaining walls, the steps and the road bank, and the drive gets a pass with the blower before the trailer gate goes up. When the season turns, leaves come down the mountain in waves and the cleanups begin, ending with the shortest cut of the year. A trim, even lawn on a Schuylkill County hillside is a small piece of order, and a pleasure to leave behind.
