About Schlegel Lawn & Landscaping LLC

Brush Creek Park greens up early, and once it does, every lawn in North Huntingdon Township is about a week behind wanting the same thing. Schlegel Lawn & Landscaping opens the year with cleanups — beds cleared, winter grit raked off, mulch spread dark against the new growth — then settles into weekly mowing, trimming and edging through the long Westmoreland summer. Come December the same trucks carry blades and spreaders, plowing drives, clearing sidewalks and salting the steep short approaches that give this township its character. There is a particular quiet to a snow-clear at dawn, when the drive is dark and wet and the rest of the street has not started yet. Both halves of the year, the same ground, kept in hand.
