Natescape

About Natescape

North Braddock's yards climb the hillside in terraces, one small green square above another, with the Monongahela working away at the bottom of the valley. Natescape mows those short, steep lots on summer mornings, while the air is still cool enough to enjoy the job. Tight ground calls for careful hands — the mower where it fits, the trimmer along retaining walls and concrete steps, then the sidewalk cleared to the curb. Fall means leaf hauling, which in a neighborhood of old sycamores and maples is a season of its own. A level, trimmed yard on one of these hillsides catches the eye from three streets away, and that is a fine thing to leave behind.
