About Halls Landscaping LLC
The Monongahela pushes its fog up the hill into North Belle Vernon on winter nights, and by morning that damp has turned to a glaze on every sloped driveway in town. Halls Landscaping LLC plows and treats those grades, which is a different job than flat ground: the snow has to come off cleanly, then the surface has to hold a tire. Walks along the terraced streets are shoveled to the step, and corners and turnarounds get opened for the mail and the garbage truck. Storms coming up the valley can switch to sleet halfway through, so a route often runs twice, with a heavier hand on the ice the second time. Heading back down the hill with every drive done, the whole river bench looks like a town that got its footing back.
