About Good Tree Service Co.

Newtown holds onto its old stone and its old trees, and by late October the walk along the creek is a tunnel of copper and rust. Good Tree Service Co. works among them — pruning to keep a heritage oak sound above a slate roof, trimming crowns off the second-story windows on the narrow lots, removing the ones that hollowed out where a limb tore away years back. Wind on the edge of a passing storm can put a heavy branch through a fence in a single second; the cleanup that follows is unhurried and complete, down to the mulch bed underneath. What the neighbors notice is the light coming back into the yard. Work runs to Richboro, Wrightstown, Holland, Washington Crossing, Yardley and Langhorne.
