About Loftus Landscaping LLC

By mid-afternoon the squall has thinned to a few last flakes over the headwaters of Darby Creek, and the light comes back the pale gold that only follows snow. That is when Loftus Landscaping LLC is finishing what it started at dawn: drives plowed back to their full width, steps cleared down to the tread, and the ice at the bottom of a slope broken up and salted before it can set overnight. Newtown Square hides its hills until winter, and every one of them turns an ordinary driveway into a small problem worth solving well. The work runs from the old crossroads neighborhoods out along the long wooded lanes, moving snow to where it can stay rather than where it will slide back. A shoveled walk, swept to the brick, is a plain thing and a good one.
