Bixler Farm and Lawn

About Bixler Farm and Lawn

Newberry Township still keeps its farm bones — long fields running off Old Trail Road, hedgerows between them, a barn roof catching first light above the Susquehanna. Bixler Farm and Lawn works that same ground on a smaller scale: mowing, string trimming and clean edges through the growing months, then cleanups once the maples let go. Come winter the work turns to plowing driveways and lanes, clearing walks and laying salt while the township is still dark. There is a plain satisfaction in a lawn cut straight enough to read from the road, and in a drive opened before anybody needs it. Same soil, same weather, all the way around the year.
