About Final Grade Inc.

Late-summer light in Oxford township comes in low over the ridge fields, turning cut grass the color of new rope. Final Grade Inc. mows and tends lawns through those long green months — the weekly cut, the trimmed fenceline, the edge run true along a walk — and then turns around in winter to plow the same drives it mowed, clearing lots and salting the ice that forms where the wind comes off the open farmland toward Nottingham. Two seasons, one map: the same lanes, the same turnarounds, learned by heart. The payoff in June is a lawn striped even to the property line; in February it's a driveway open at six in the morning, before anyone has to think about it. Between the creeks and the crossroads, the work simply keeps the year running.
