Man and a Mower

About Man and a Mower

Some work only makes sense one person at a time: a narrow yard behind an old streetcar-line house, a set of steps climbing up from the sidewalk, a driveway barely wider than the car. Man and a Mower takes those on directly — pushing the mower where a rider will never fit, trimming the corners, edging the walk, sweeping the concrete before leaving. Come winter the same lots get shoveled, plowed where there is room to turn, and salted at the steps where it matters most. Small properties get skipped by plenty of outfits, which is precisely why somebody ought to do them well. One truck, one person, and a route of yards known by name.
