About KAMscapes

Weather announces itself in New Cumberland from the northwest, where Blue Mountain stands over the valley and a storm shows on the ridge before it ever reaches the river. KAMscapes watches that horizon in both seasons — mowing, trimming and edging through the green months, plowing and clearing walks through the white ones. Snow that arrives at midnight has to be off the driveways by six, and there is no substitute for simply being out in it. In summer the pleasure is quieter: a lawn cut at the right height, beds trimmed back to a true line, a property that looks composed. One valley, two kinds of work, and the same regard for how a place looks when the truck pulls away.
