About J and L Jordan Services LLC

Evening in New Columbia arrives slowly: the West Branch of the Susquehanna goes silver a mile east, swallows work the field edges, and the heat lifts off the blacktop of Route 15. J and L Jordan Services LLC spends those long days on lawns — cutting, trimming along fence lines and foundations, edging walks, and clearing the cuttings so a yard looks finished rather than merely mowed. River-bottom ground grows fast after a July storm, which is its own kind of challenge and its own kind of reward. A property left tidy on a Friday, mower lines running true and the trimmer work sharp around every post, is the point of the whole day. Around White Deer, Allenwood and Watsontown, the same trucks come back week after week.
