About Good Habits Gardening, LLC

New Columbia lies on the flat river ground of the West Branch, the Nittany ridge standing off to the west and White Deer Creek coming down to meet the Susquehanna. Good Habits Gardening, LLC works those level yards and garden beds — mowing, edging, weeding, mulching, and cutting back whatever has outgrown its place. Bottomland soil grows everything quickly, weeds included, so the habit is the whole point: come back often, stay ahead of it, never let a bed get away. In November the beds are cleaned out and the grass is taken down short for the cold. A yard tended on that rhythm never needs rescuing; it simply looks right in June and again in September.
