Watkins Turf Care

About Watkins Turf Care

First light on the ridge roads east of New Castle, out toward Harlansburg, and every lawn lies silver with dew before the July heat can find it. Watkins Turf Care starts early for exactly that reason — grass cuts cleaner while it is cool, and a blade that slices rather than tears is the difference between a lawn that greens up and one that scorches off. The work here is turf work: mowing on a set rotation, fertilization, weed control, aeration and overseeding, trimming and edging. Thick, deep-colored, even from fence line to fence line — that is the whole aim, and it gets built one visit at a time. By late August, when other yards have gone pale, you can tell at a glance which ones were tended.
