Tree Guy Now

About Tree Guy Now

Downriver toward Catasauqua and Coplay the old cement stacks stand over the Lehigh, and in an ice storm every limb along the bank goes glassy and bends low over the road. Tree Guy Now turns to winter clearing when that weather arrives, plowing drives, shoveling walks and salting the shaded stretches where the river fog freezes back overnight. Riverside streets hold cold longer than the hilltops do, so what melts at noon is a sheet again by dark, and it takes a second visit. A cleared lane down to the garage on a morning like that is worth more than it sounds. This end of the valley earns its winters, and the work is cut to fit them.
