About Messner Services

Out past Narvon the fields open toward the Welsh Mountain, and when the wind runs across them the snow will not stay where it fell — it piles in long drifts against every lane and farm drive. Messner Services works that country: plowing driveways and lots, cutting the banks back, salting where a grade would otherwise carry a car sideways. Lancaster County storms often finish overnight, so the clearing gets done under headlights with the fields glowing pale on both sides. Morning comes up over the ridge onto black open pavement and a set of clean edges. That is the entire job, and it is a good one.
