C & S Truck and Auto Shoppe

About C & S Truck and Auto Shoppe

Snow comes up the Susquehanna valley in the dark, and Nanticoke's hillside streets take it hard — nearly every drive in town either climbs or drops away toward the river. C & S Truck and Auto Shoppe meets it with plow trucks, opening driveways and lots and salting the grades where a car would otherwise slide. The hours are unsociable: out at three, finished about the time the Wyoming Valley turns gray at the edges. What is left behind is pavement, dark and open, with the banks pushed back where they belong. On the morning after a storm, that is the whole story anyone needs.
