About D & L Landscaping and Exterior Cleaning

Fog comes off the Monongahela early in Munhall and hangs in the hollows until the sun clears the far bank. D & L Landscaping and Exterior Cleaning works the borough's stacked hillside yards — the narrow green strips beside old retaining walls, the pocket lawns that tip toward the river — mowing, trimming and edging them into something deliberate. There is real satisfaction in the line where turf meets a run of stone steps, cut sharp enough to read from the sidewalk. When the maples along the avenues let go, cleanups clear the beds and gutter lines, and mulch goes back down dark and even before frost. Small ground, tended closely, is what makes a Steel Valley street look cared for.
