About Lemur Tree Care

Fog sits low in the Muncy Creek valley on September mornings, caught between the hills until the sun climbs high enough to burn it off. Lemur Tree Care works those farm lanes and hollows — pruning dooryard and orchard-edge trees, trimming the hedgerow limbs that crowd a lane, removing the big ones that have died standing over a field gate. Creek-bottom storms tear through the hemlocks and leave a tangle of tops and brush; sorting it out is patient work with a saw and a truck. There is real pleasure in the last pass, when the brush is gone and the light comes down through the gap that opened. Calls come from Hughesville, Muncy, Picture Rocks, Clarkstown, Lairdsville and Unityville.
