Pocono Lawn Care : Mount Pocono

About Pocono Lawn Care : Mount Pocono

Mount Pocono sits high enough on the plateau that spring shows up a week or two behind the valleys, and the laurel under the hemlocks is often still wet when the mowers start. Pocono Lawn Care : Mount Pocono works that short, generous green season — mowing, trimming, edging and the cleanups that bracket it at both ends. Mountain lawns grow in a strange rhythm up here, slow to wake and then suddenly lush after a run of soft July rain, and they hold their color late into the fall. Working around stone, root and the shade of tall trees is half the skill; the other half is the finish, a lawn cut level and its edges cut clean against the drive. Along Route 940 and up the back roads, that's what the work leaves behind.
